Geographical Location – 50 Kilometres from Mombasa Town.
Area- Very dry and Jimba lies on a hilltop.

Jimba has been our oldest projects and one of the first that we had embarked upon.
The Maalim in-charge there is known as Maalim Msafir who guides them well and does his best to exploit the talents of the people there. Having organised a boy’s football team that plays against the other teams in the area, infact being their team is the only one compared to all the other centres that is well-trained. This encourages the youth towards a brighter future in the event that they are hard-working. Due to their football, they have attracted alot of Christians who have now converted to Shiasm.
They plant vegetables such as tomatoes, sukuma wiki, chilies, maize, sweet-potatoes and the like. It worked out well and helps them.
This are, piping of water had been done of approximately 3-4kms and water is now available.Aims:
Jimba desperately needs a new mosque built as the current one is too small and in a dilapidated state.
The roof of one of the classrooms has been blown off and needs repairs. The cost to replace is about 40,000-50,000 Kshs.
The cost of building a new mosque is about 5 million Kshs of which we are appealing towards the donors as it is Thawab-e-Jaari for their Marhumeens.
The Maalims house as well is in a sorry state and needs urgent repairs.
