 Salaam Alaikum.
With the Grace of the Almighty we have once again been productive at attempting to make improvements in one of our centres, Jimba. This mosque is 20 years old now and thus completely falling apart and in tatters. Jimba being the oldest of the centres, is also the most populated and this means we are in desperate need for better facilities.
We are moreover, in process of acquiring a plot nearby the same old building and need to build a better, bigger, well-facilitated mosque there. The proposed mosque area will be 2000 Sq. Feet with a wudhoo area and malim’s house. The existing mosque will be renovated and converted into a madresah.
Approximate cost of the mosque and wudhoo are is Kshs 6 Million, $72,300 and 50,000 Sterling Pounds.
We are appealing to one and all to generously contribute towards this worthy cause as Sawabe Jaari is one of the most rewarded of deeds. Let us contribute in any way we can to help the Muslim Ummah, more precisely, our Muslim brothers and sisters living in the suburbs of Kenya.

 The function started with Marshas and lectures delivered by various maalems in kiswahili. later a play was organized by Jimba centre in which they inacted the arrival of the Ahlulbayt in Madina after their release from the prison Shaam. All in All the program was very successful and was attended by about 700 people from our different centres. The program ended with the serving of niyyaz (Pilau & juice) by HWG.    |

On Thursday 15th October 2009, we once again visited Ngonzini this time to bring into reality their most vital necessity – ‘water’!
Alhamdullilah after four years they were blessed with the much needed rainfall and to preserve the rain water, we got a water tank in place and attached a pipe that leads straight into the tank. This is a temporary fitting, though the permanent one will get fixed within a couple of days.

 The roof is leaking and as you can tell from the pictures, the walls are getting ruined as well. In fact to fix this problem, we need to remove the Bandas and re-fix the roofing and once again replace the Bandas well with no gaps in between as it is through these gaps that the waters seeps in. The water remains in these gaps and then slowly finds its way down.

An Inter-Village competition was held during the month of Mahe Ramadhan. 
The Quran competitions had been held between 3 centres, namely: Jimba, Mwanjama and Chiferi. To award the winners and recognize the participants, a ceremony was organized at Jimba on Sunday 11th October 2009.
